is it ok to use vaseline intensive rescue moisture locking lotion on new tattoos?
i just a new tattoo 11/29/08 and i have brought tattoo goo products such as the antibacterial wash and the salve. i know in a couple of days my tattoo will start to peel and scab and i need a good lotion for it.i've heard lubriderm,aveeno and things like that are good but i would like to know if vaseline intensive rescue moisture locking lotion will be good for my tattoo with no side effects. this product is an unsented lotion and it is also hypoallergenic please someone let me know 
If there is Vaseline in it, then definitely not. Vaseline prevents oxygen from getting to your tattoo and doesn't allow it to breathe.
