Do mary kay timewise cellu-shape contouring products really work?
If so, how long did it take for you to see results? does it greatly reduce the appearance of cellulite?
Hi the person who wrote is correct, all the timewise products were tested & that particular item was tested over a period of # of weeks.
However what I want to say is that the product isn't perm. It even does not claim that is is perm--none of the creams, potions, etc are perm.
They work by applying a caffeine enhanced mixture of botanicals over your skin (all the products not just Mary Kay) & that in turn smooths your cellulite down & makes it look smooth.
This smoothness occurs over a period of time and while you regulary use the product. In the Mary Kay trial, at the end of the trial, a certain % of people reported an average loss of 1/4" off their thigh from this smoothing process.
This is how these products work.
As a consultant it is a good product for what it is & compared to what is on the market for a few reasons.
one of them being that if it doesn't work/ you are unhappy with it/ you are allergic to it, etc you can get your $$ back as long as there is no more than 1/2 used of each tube (its a 2 part system).
Another reason is that our product is moisturizing: caffeine can dry your skin out, ours does not dry your skin out. Alternatively, another product may cost less but then you have to buy a good moisturizer as well.
Another reason, with ours you can "target" areas of your body that need special assistance with the gel--the 2nd part--most other products both products go on all areas.
However--do you need this product?
no.
The only suggestion I would say would be pure & utter vanity--because it is a product that only works while you are using it--it makes sense to use it if you are preparing for an event: wedding, trip, reunion, pictures, etc.
You can get similar help by drinking a TON of water (at least your 8 to 10 glasses a day, and exercising gently & doing stretches in the areas that are the "worst".
As well, there is another toning product that MK that is 1/2 the price & is actualy part 1 of the 2 part system. This product, combined with good health habits are going to be your best bet.
As well, if the pics are "that bad" you can always have them touched up!
