People with Oily Skin Need Moisturizers, Too
A really smart forty-something woman offered some good advice for people in their twenties - you need to moisturize. Don't laugh. Even if you have perpetually oily skin at age twenty, moisturizing should be a part of your daily ritual. I was enraged after reading about this! Much of the facial cleanser cream on the market should bear a warning label. Laboratory evaluations conducted by the state of California showed that many of them contain Dioxane, a known human carcinogen. Cleaning products that have been prepared using ethylene oxide are the culprits. Interestingly, these contaminants have been found in standard and supposedly "natural" cleansers, as well.
The state of California has sued several companies. They must either correct the problem or include a warning label stating, "Use of this product may increase your risk of cancer."
