Have you or anyone you know of ever had a positive blood serum HCG after nevative home pregnancy tests?
I get more disappointed every morning that I have another negative, I asked the doctor for blood work yesterday at my sons appt. My period was due last Monday and still no sign of it. I have many pregnancy symptoms but still no + pregnancy tests. Just hoping that there is hope out there. Please share your experiences

I know how you feel... been there:) Yes, there is always hope. Although the urine tests are pretty accurate these days there is a chance of taking them too soon. I took mine too soon with my first and got a BFN then only a day later took a more sensitive one with my first morning urine and got a faint positive. I had to have my hubby in to make sure it was really there! Sensitivity makes all the difference.
There is always hope until you have your period though. Sometimes we ovulate later in the month than we usually do. If you ovulated later there is a chance you could have tested too soon so can expect your period later or BFP (Big Fat Positive).
The blood test will show you if there is any rise in your hCG and will be able to give you the precise beta count. I wish you luck and pray its your month:)
