Best printer to print on printable cds and able to Refill
What would you people suggest be the best printer to get to print on DVD's? It has to be one I can refill the ink myself and not like the cannon who use chiped ink carts so u can't refill them. If all possible use only the 3 basic refill colors Red Blue and Yellow to refill with. I know some printers uses like five colors and black
Basically I want to know information about the best printer to print on printable cds and able to Refill.

Hi,
I would like to know that did they use three ink colors or 5 ink colors? I have noticed that the canons have 5 ink carts all its own color.
I also know that I can not refill the chipped carts because once it I once it runs out the printer will think the carts empty even after refilling it.
Is there something special we have to for refilling them?

With the Canon ip4200 and ip5200 to ip4500 to ip5300 all use the CLI - 8 cartridges can be filled. Printer uses two black and three color. You can refill them by "Resume" button, each time the report was empty printer cartridges. After a few times like this, will see a warning message about using re-filled cartridges. This can be overcome, by pressing the 'Feed' button for 5 seconds when this message appears and after this no more warnings will appear for the cartridge. The only drawback is, the printer will not report how many ink cartridges refilled in the left (first), so you need toupgrade their eyes from time to time and again, any work top and low.

According me you should try to get an ip4200, 4300 or 4500 since the 4600 has smaller cartridges, you can also get a re-setter for resetting the chip on the cartridges for around 25. All the reconditioned printers are very reasonable, and all of them have the CD tray for printing CD's or printing DVD's.
