PLEASE HELP ME!!!!Why is my lip burning?
The rim of my upper lip is dry and red and burns like crazy. I've had this for about a year. My mom thinks it might be herpes, but I don't see how I would have gotten that. I got diagnosed with perioral dermatitis by my dermatologist, but that was around my eye and nose. What's worng with my lip?
you might be allergic to something you use, like lip gloss, chapstick/lip balm... or something you eat that comes in contact with your lips. when i consume soy sauce paste (chinese condiment), it sometimes makes my lips itchy, and i scratch it and it becomes dry and annoying.
